Happy Tuesday!
I'm so excited to announce I will be on Chef AJ's show TOMORROW at 11am PST!
I will be demonstrating 3 different ways you can use Japanese sweet potatoes:
- Banana split
- French toast
- Oat cookies
Creating nutrient dense desserts is my favorite.. because this is where so many of us get tempted into the dopamine spiral, less healthy options that lead us craving even more food.
The reason is because we were designed by nature to seek out the most calorically dense options! This is due to our ancestors having to spend days seeking out food, so whenever they came across it, they had to eat in abundance because they didn't know when their next meal would be. They lived in a a world of scarcity, which is much different than our world today.
So.. its not your fault! We live in a world of abundance now. The grocery stores are packed with processed, highly caloric dense food options.
The good news is we can control what we buy, and what we fill our fridge with.
When it comes to desserts, there are so many ways to create nutrient dense options using fruit, and yes.. even potatoes! Which is what I'll be showing on the Chef AJ show tomorrow at 11am PST.
Here's a sneak peak of what I'll be making...
Consultations:
Dealing with resistant weight loss, fatigue, skin issues, digestive problems? A lot of this is due to what we are eating and the environmental toxicants we are exposed to in our daily routine.
This can be due to the products we are using, water we are drinking, and yes even the food we buy!
Our body's have the blueprint to heal! This is why I love what I do: instead of adding a million supplements (which overloads our liver and gut), we work together on identifying what is causing the harm, remove it, and add in specific foods to support the body's healing.
