Happy Monday!


I've been a little quiet these past couple of weeks. Between traveling, moving into a new apartment, and working on an exciting project for everyone its been busy to say the least.


Quick life update: moved into a new apartment because of mold in our previous apartment. This is why supporting your body's detox organs are key because it allows your body to efficiently mobilize toxins through your body's elimination pathways!


But before I dive into these pathways, I want to make an announcement.

How to make sure your body is properly eliminating toxins:


There are different signs your body may be telling you its experiencing toxin overload. Here are a few of them:


  • fatigue
  • brain fog
  • poor memory
  • bloating
  • digestive issues
  • inability to lose weight
  • mood swings
  • skin issues
  • fertility issues
  • susceptibility to infections


First step is always reducing your exposure to these environmental toxins and supporting your body through a plant predominant diet.


Second, meditation is key! Your body heals in the parasympathetic state.


Third, detox if necessary. Many times people jump into detox regimens before their body is ready for it, and this results in re circulation of toxins. Detoxes I'm talking about: fasting & juice cleanses. In actuality, our body NEEDS nutrients to support detoxification, not abstaining from them!


A few things to make sure you're doing now that helps to ensure your body is eliminating toxins:


  1. Bowel movements daily (ideally 1-2 formed)
  2. Urinating regularly (this means adequately hydrating)
  3. Sweating 4-5x week! Whatever way this means to you: through exercise, hot bath, or sauna use.
