How is your day winding down?

In my book, "The Smart Dating Companion", I wrote about the reasons people cry when a relationship ends. Understanding these will help you stay focused on a relationship that is not committed and also help you know exactly what you are dealing with and how to heal after “breakfast.” - Breakfast is Nigerian slang for a breakup.

The first reason I shared is that people mourn what they have invested - The time, the money, the emotions, the opportunity costs - all the other relationships they have said no to in other to say yes to the one that just failed.

So now you know you cannot invest all your time, money, and emotions in a relationship if you have not seen any signs of commitment.

It is like building a house on a property that is not yours. You lose both land and property. What you would regret most is what you have invested., so invest wisely.
