Greetings All,

Thanks for another fine gathering last night. The last deep-dive story session of this series!

If you missed it or want to catch up, the video is here:

https://youtu.be/273EEec4fJM

A few journalling questions in response to the story

When have you been fixed in a shape that is not your true form?

What was needed to break the enchantment?

Even in dark times what lifts your spirits? (such as Finn during his wandering)

Ossian learns to speak through listening to Finns stories-

What kind of language have you learned through listening to stories throughout Myth as Medicine?

Poetic inspiration

Ossian became the greatest of the Fianna poets, walk in his footsteps a little this week.

Write a creative response to one of these opening lines inspired by the stories we've explored.

"When is gaze into the pool of the world I see...."

"When I follow the tracks of the deer I find...."

'If I were to run with the wolves....'

'During my darkest wanderings....'

"Like the sun's daughter I..."

Feel free to draw your own prompt from one of the stories or elsewhere.

Write a Haiku

Create a myth as medicine Haiku.

(it has three lines of 5 syllables, 7 syllables then 5 syllables, it doesn't rhyme, it has a 'kireji' or cutting word and a 'kigo' or seasonal reference.

Ceilidh Finale

Prepare a story, song, poem etc for next week's ceilidh share.

....

Have a great week

Dougie
