On Wednesday the 10th of June, 7.30pm, I'm hosting a free online evening: Passing an Ember- storytelling, apprenticeship and the living tradition.

We'll gather on Zoom. I'll tell a story. Then we'll talk — about what real mentorship in the oral tradition looks like, share something of the mentors who have blessed my path and explore live transmission. We'll get into lineage and traditions, plus deviation and emergence, and how they swirl together in the contemporary storytelling pot.

It's a standalone evening, free to attend, and worth your time whether or not the programme I'm developing is on your radar.
