Online offerings

Greetings all,
The summer has all of a sudden sprung in Scotland, and today was very much a 'taps aff' kind of day.
Celebrating the sun, I boldly made my way into a stream before realising all of the stones were covered in a thin slimy algae that is treacherous underfoot. At least it was a warm day upon which to fall into a stream, and there was no-one there to see. I hope your summer is equally exciting so far!
With the sun blazing, it seems a little ironic to be offering online events, but such is the way of modern life.
I've got three events in the coming month that I wanted to highlight.
First up is 'Hawthorn, Heart and Faery Lore' (Wed 17th 7-9 BST)
with esteemed herbalist friend Caitch O'Neill.
Hawthorn is the faery tree, has a particular resonance with the heart in herbal medicine, and its blossom is synonymous with summer. We've got a special session planned where I'll tell two brand new tales, I promise you won't have heard me tell them elsewhere!

Lithica Tales (June 15 7-9 BST) is an event I'm running as a fundraiser for my Norway primitive skills trip this year.
I'll be sharing my favourite tales with rewilding and primitive skills themes. I'll tell a new story, along with some recent favourites, with a guest teller or two offering something different.
This event is pay what you can. All contributions are appreciated and help to continue weaving traditional storytelling within the primitive skills scene, and support rewilding in Europe.

Finally, Ancestral Stories and Songs of Scotland is a 6 week series starting on Thursday 18th that offers a deep dive into the creative cultural heritage of Scotland.
I'm the guest storyteller for week one, exploring 'the power of the word' in Gaelic culture. There are some fantastic facilitators in the weeks following, including one of my mentors Seoras Macpherson. He's a rare gem.
This course would be ideal for someone looking connect more deeply and creatively with Scottish Heritage. Maybe that's you or you or someone you know?

Wishing you many sun-bathed adventures until then.
All best
