Scottish Tales for Telling

Greetings all,
The festive season is almost upon us. As the long nights are illuminated by increasingly exuberant Christmas lights on my street, I find myself postponing festive thoughts as I'm pulled in opposite directions like the desire to hibernate, yet also finish off creative projects before midwinter break.
The most significant creative project is a collection of Scottish Tales for Telling, that I'll be recording and editing through midwinter. I've been plotting this for a long time and feel ready to record a choice selection of the Scottish Tales that I've been telling for many years. I've sought to give a good flavour of the key stories and folk motifs in Scottish lore and mythology, whilst essentially just recording the stories I love and have told most often during a decade or so of professional storytelling.
These stories have carried me well and I'm ready to pass them on.
I'm launching this project via kickstarter, a crowd-funding platform, so I can dedicate the creative time needed to record and edit each of these tales to a standard I'll be proud of.
You can find out more via the following link.

If you can share the link amongst your friends, family & networks that would be very much appreciated!
I'm really looking forward to getting these stories out there in an easy accessible format. These are tales that I feel should be told far and wide, some classic, some more obscure, but all crackers in their own right.
Tales of faery enchantment, selkie justice, witches with a taste for whisky, poetic warriors, fabled chiefs, and even the tale of how the midges came to Scotland all feature.
There are a range of gift options for story lovers and budding storytellers too.
Thanks for your support and attention!
Wintry Blessings
Dougie
