Myth as Medicine week 7 video and activities

Greetings all,
Thanks for another rich evening, drifting into the dreamier quality of winter and acknowledging elders in the North West of the wheel.
If you missed the story or would like to review, here is the video link:

Our dream-weaving tasks this week are:
Keep a dream journal
Make it easy for yourself by leaving a notebook and pen by your bed, write as soon as you wake up. Approach dreams in a similar way to how we work with the stories. What is the wisdom arising from your subconscious?
Stimulate Lucid Dreams
Drink mugwort tea in the evening (artemisia), it is traditionally used to stimulate dreaming and the effects can be felt easily. Frankincense oil and blue cheese are also said to arouse distinct dreams. Maybe you know some others?
Create an evening routine to promote deep sleep
Don't look at screens for 60 minutes before bed (the blue light they emit keeps us in a state of wakefulness).
Write in your journal- Three things you are grateful for. Three successes of the day. Goals for the next day. Questions you would like to be answered through your dreaming!
Invest in Rest
What can you do to enhance your sleep? Get a nice hot water bottle cover or eye mask, buy some soft sheets or wash the old ones in something fragrant. Create a herbal dream pillow, or find some sleepy audio sounds for night time.
Vision Board
Consider your dreams for the next year, 5 years, 10 years. Maybe make a vision board, pinning images that showcase your dreams, or simple mind map or list them in your journal. Know what you want so your dreams can manifest.
Clay modelling
There's an invitation to get our hands dirty and get a bit creative in this weeks story. You may fancy sculpting some Crowdie or ricotta, but probably clay would be a more sensible option. If not sculpting, you could paint or create something else with your hands.
Go wandering
Our protagonist strays from the well trodden path. Go for a walk and purposefully leave the pathways. be drawn by your curiosity, see where you end up and what you discover!
.......
Also this week we referenced the Boudicca books by Manda Scott.
The first book in the series:
Also her podcast is called Accidental Gods.
.....
Wishing you all a week of lucidity
