Return to the Pacific North West

Greetings
I write from the Hood River Gorge in Oregon, marvelling at the majesty of this place- the vastness of the Columbia river, white water streaming down the hills, Mount Hood's jagged peak rising the south. I'm likewise delighted with quirks such as 'ghee with medicinal mushrooms' to add to my morning coffee- we don't get that in Scotland!
This is my third time in the Pacific North West, having returned to Oregon twice since the first venture to Vancouver island two years ago.
I dearly hope to get back to the island soon. I'd love to bring more stories and meet fine folk once again. The fires of kinship were kindled during that first trip. I'll likely be reaching out with more on that front in the coming months.
In the meantime, if you find yourself in Oregon and Washington over the coming week, or fancy a brief story pilgrimage, I'll be telling tales in Portland, Port Townsend, and White Salmon over the next 10 days.
It's a bit of an impromptu trip, but we have some gorgeous, intimate venues lined up and each event will be supported by local artists. Numbers are limited but I think each will be special in their own way.
Info is available at https://buytickets.at/storyconnection where tickets can also be purchased.
I'd love to see some of you there. If not in the next week, then further down the line.
All best
Dougie
