Book 2 in the Ascension Archive - The Gates of Damnation Update: I've hit a barrier with this book . . . I was aiming to wrap up this one by April 2026, but it looks like it will be delayed as I find a new editor. It turns out this story is more violent than previous books (in some ways). The question is this; does the level of the story's fantasy violence hold up to the brutality of the current industry's fantasy/sci-fi productions? In my opinion, no, it's nowhere near as violent and perverse as some of the books coming out in the market. But, Gates of Damnation is a very confronting story and its themes are dark - darker than what I usually write. But it is a story of redemption and responsibility through judgement, and it reaches into depths that will question your own reasoning and morals. What would you do to save the one you love? Would you be willing to do anything necessary? would you even make a bad deal? The Gates of Damnation is a very important story surrounding the events of the War for Ascension series, focusing on a terrifying mission descending the darkest underworld to retrieve a malevolent tome called the Ekradex. One of seven, these Ekradex books of damnation are being used in cult-like rituals by the vile servants of the enemy to conjure evil forces. Destroying them would deal a devastating blow to the enemy, but if the mission is foiled, great dangers will lay ahead as Ahstra's forces continue to defile all in their way!

Who am I really? Who is Dominician Gennari? I'll be delving into this question a little later. The bottom line is, I've changed. I've gone through hell and back and I'm not the same 'Dominician' as I once was. I see the world differently now, and I have a deeper understanding of myself. It's quite refreshing actually. Stay tuned for an in depth look at who I really am. Be careful, I may surprise you.
