I posted an email last year about all the old episodes of Unsolved Mysteries being free on YouTube and got a great response from a lot of readers. Apparently, you share my love of intriguing true crime and paranormal mysteries. I've also posted about various Japanese-related stuff because I lived there teaching English for a while, and many of you have responded positively to that as well.
Here's a mashup of those two things I never thought I'd find: a bizarre unsolved mystery from Japan.

I don't want to spoil it for you, but it starts with two hikers who get rescued in the Japanese wilderness after someone spotted an SOS sign, only the hikers are not the ones who created it. This story has a lot of twists and turns, so if you watch it and have a theory as to what actually happened, please tell me your theory at [email protected]. My husband I debated the finer points of this case, and I still have no firm idea what happened.
