Hello, readers! It's been a while since I've sent out a newsletter. That's because I've been heads-down finishing up rough drafts of books I hope you will enjoy soon.
What has DM Fike been up to?
Let's get the big news out of the way first:
Magical Midlife Mom is about to get two more books!
Although I originally envisioned this series as a 4-book quartet, I realized that Melissa had some dangling threads in her magical life.
- What happened with her relationship to Gabriel?
- How would Regan deal with growing up with magical powers?
- And what about the aftermath of the Blessed Order, and Barbara in particular?
Those questions and more will be answered in two new books that will follow the events of the original series. I sent rough drafts off to my editor, and after I receive her feedback, I'll set release dates for Books 5 and 6 in future newsletters. (Rest assured, both will be published in 2025, likely this spring.)
While you wait for that news, I've got another fun free gift for you. I wrote a 10,000-word story featuring your favorite magical librarian, Rosalind Baldwin. Check out Wisdom of the Fae Library:
A disgruntled owl shifter, unwanted pests, and a bookish mystery....there's never a dull moment for the Librarian of Atlantis!
I hope that tides you over you until I have a preorder available for Melissa's next adventure.
What do you think of this new short story? Got any feedback for my other magical midlife books? Send me an email at [email protected].
