The Spooky Season is Now Upon Us

image

October means a lot of things to a lot of people. I will completely not judge you for loving OR hating the return of pumpkin spice season. My husband and I are at complete odds on this topic, and yet we still remained happily married. However, one thing most people I know enjoy this month is the various (un)dead activities that tend to define this month.

Even Mother Nature gets in on the action, shedding all over the place so that we must rake her decaying skin lest they clog our gutters and drainpipes.

Okay, maybe that's a little dramatic, given these pretty and colorful leaves I found in my neighborhood.

If you're looking for something both creepy and historical to watch, Lemmino on YouTube recently released a great free hour-long documentary on Jack the Ripper. The video goes into great detail into the timeline of this now classic murder mystery. Even my husband, who generally stays away from my true crime show binges, enjoyed watching it with me. (So there is something the two of us agree on.)

The Enduring Mystery of Jack the Ripper by Lemmino on YouTube. Given the topic of the documentary, viewer discretion is advised (gruesome details are described, not shown).

Also new this October, I just released Magic of Nasci Books #1-5 in a brand new collection. You save about 50% when you purchase these five books together as a bundle, either in ebook or single paperback form. For Kindle Unlimited readers, you can now download all five books as one volume, so it doesn't take up all your book slots.
