I'm no plumber

This last week I put on my work gloves and safety goggles and got my hands dirty.
For a guy that has spent the last 17 years working in a nice air conditioned space, drawing, and coloring pictures on skin, it was way out of my daily routines.
Chopping metal legs with a grinder, building a PVC drain system and running water lines to a new sink are all things I would pay someone else to do for me.
That's what I always did.
I figured time was better spent earning money rather than saving money.
But it was very therapeutic.
To leave my comfort zone behind and get some stuff handled.
It also satisfied my problem solving and puzzle loving side of me. (some of the same things that draw me to business) as well as the part of me that loves to learn.
One of my yoga teachers... MC Yogi says, you gotta get comfortable being uncomfortable. So thats what I've been doing. Do the things that are out of the comfort zone but still satisfy the parts of me that light up.
Even this new email newsletter is a bit out of my zone!
So did you get out of your comfort zone this week? Or have you been putting something off that seems difficult?
Til next week
David
