New Books, New Blurbs, and an IT question

06/09/2020

Hello Fellow Book Readers,

In the last newsletter, I said I had 2 things to share with you. This week I'll talk about the second one. Before I get to that. I wanted to give a little update on my writing progress.

Currently, I have two projects with my editor. I'm excited about those projects and you will hear about them as time goes on. One of those projects will be a co-written project with Devante Cresh (check the last newsletter where I talk about that pen name) I'll probably go silent on that particular project until I get the editing back, blurb written and cover done. but I'm expecting it to be released around my birthday... which is in October. There will be a pre-order, which I will let you know.

I have a question...

So I'm researching a project, its a tech project dealing with helping non tech-savvy people navigate and get the help they need when it comes to IT issues. I was wondering if you work in an environment where you have to deal with IT/Tech support etc. but you yourself aren't super tech savvy, what are some questions you have about dealing with IT or just general IT related questions that you have. You know, those things that you would like to know that would help you to be more productive when dealing with IT etc

For example.

"What can I do to make sure IT know what I'm talking about when I have a problem with XXX"

or

"Why is it that I always have to get approval to do trivial things?"

Feel free to reply to this newsletter with your question.

NEWS

Ok... Now onto that second thing.

To update you all. I have a psychological thriller novella that I wrote towards the end of last year/beginning of the this year. I didn't know what I would do with it, since my genre's has thus far been sword and sorcery fantasy and Scifi. I ended up joining a crime thriller box set that is in pre-order now (go preorder it if you haven't already). The box-set has 20 stories by 20 thriller authors. Will be thousands of pages of reading. anyway, go get it. its just 99¢

But my news is I now have a cover and blurb to show you. The cover was done quickly and when the box-set is over (it will be available for a limited time) and I release the novella on my own, I will most likely use a different cover but check out below. (also, the blurb needs an edit. Its close to final but I will work on it some more)

Detective Johnson is a veteran on the police force. Loyal, smart and always gets his man. He and his partner, Detective Sally, were stumped when a man arrived at the lone police station of his small town. That man wanted to confess to the murders of nine local women.

After an initial investigation, Detectives Johnson and Sally find that all nine of those women are indeed very much alive, but, each had a strange interaction with the would be serial killer. That interaction alone was enough to put the confessor in prison for life. Detective Johnson knew there was more to the story, especially since the confessor still claim that those women are already dead.

Only Detective Johnson and Sally can find out what more there is to this case… But will they survive what they find?
