I hope you’re well. I wanted to take a moment to share something we’re really proud of at DICE Enterprise: our Adult Day Centres, which run 3 days a week in Doncaster for adults (18+) with a disability.

Our Day Centres are all about giving people exciting opportunities to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, be creative, build friendships, and grow confidence in a safe, welcoming environment. We focus on fun, routine, and meaningful days out that help adults feel part of something, not just attend something.

Here’s what’s running each week:

Monday, Nature Explorers Day Centre  

10:00am – 2:30pm, Sandall Beat Road, Doncaster (DN2 6JP)  

A brilliant outdoor day full of hands-on activities and woodland adventures. There are 50+ things to try, including nature walks, bike rides, exploring the woods, den building, woodworking, arts and crafts, baking, pizza ovens, and conservation projects.

Tuesday, Wellbeing Activity Day Centre  

10:00am – 2:30pm, Woodfield Social Club, Doncaster (DN4 8HL)  

A feel-good day designed to boost wellbeing through healthy cooking, crafts, dancing, fun sports, guest talks (like mental health and healthy living), plus exciting trips out, including our allotment for gardening, yoga, and nature walks.

Wednesday, Drama Day Centre  

10:00am – 2:30pm, Woodfield Social Club, Doncaster (DN4 8HL)  

A creative, confidence-building drama day for adults who want to express themselves through acting, movement, and music. It’s great for communication skills, teamwork, and building self-belief, with exciting performance opportunities too.

How it works  

When someone applies, we complete an initial assessment to understand their needs and ensure the day centre is the right fit. We create a tailored package that helps each person fully take part and make great memories. Many people use direct payments, personal budgets, or benefits such as PIP to attend.

Pricing  

• Attending independently (no supervision required), £28 members, £30 non-members  

• Attending with own support, £28 members, £30 non-members  

• Attending with DICE staff supervision/support, from £48 per day (depending on level of support needed)

Please note, some individuals will need to attend with their own support, for example, if they require 1:1 support in the community, personal care/toileting support, medication administration support, or if they display physically challenging behaviours.
