Hi Friend,

I hope this email finds you well and brimming with creativity!

After over 20 years of using Adobe Photoshop, I'm making a significant shift in my creative journey, and I wanted to share this news with you personally. It’s a bittersweet decision, but I’m incredibly hopeful about the future.

Why I'm Leaving Adobe:

Recent issues with Adobe's subscription practices and user terms have raised significant concerns. Hidden fees, complex cancellation processes, and the use of our artwork to train AI models have made me reconsider my options.

Exploring New Horizons:

I’m excited to explore a variety of affordable and powerful alternatives that promise to make art and design more accessible, and you can expect tutorial videos on these in the future!

  • Affinity Programs: User-friendly and feature-rich, perfect for all skill levels.
  • Clip Studio Paint: Ideal for illustrators and comic artists.
  • Canva: Great for quick designs and social media graphics.
  • Procreate: A game-changer for digital artists and illustrators on the iPad.

More Than Just Photoshop:

My courses offer more than just Photoshop skills. They cover business strategies, the history of surface pattern design, and preparing your portfolio to pitch to companies. Plus, there are valuable insights into ethical AI considerations and how to responsibly use AI to enhance your art.

Transition Period:

I will continue using Adobe products through the end of this year as I finish client work and slowly transition to other software. Your support over the years has made it possible for me to run my business, and I appreciate your understanding during this transition.

Legacy Courses Now Available:

My legacy mini-courses, previously available on Skillshare, are now accessible through my shop at [shop.thegypsygoddess.com]

I've shared a detailed blog post about this decision and what it means for the future. You can read all about it here: [Read the Blog Post]

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support and enthusiasm inspire me every day, and I’m excited to continue exploring new ways to create and teach art together!

Wishing you endless creativity and success,
