When I first saw the Duolingo English Test writing task, I thought, "Five minutes for a full answer? No way!" 😅

And I know many of my students feel the same—until they learn my system.

It’s not just about writing fast—you also need to:

1. Meet the DET scoring criteria (Content, Coherence, Grammar, Vocabulary).
2. Stay clear and well-structured.
3. Write at least 50 words.

Without a plan, it can feel impossible—but with the right strategy, it's totally doable!

That’s why I created a simple, effective template that works for every DET writing question.

I shared this template in a YouTube video (link at the end of this email!), but today, I’m teaching it LIVE for DET Ready VIP members.

📝 Introduction (1 sentence)

🔹 Supporting Idea 1 (with examples or reasons)

🔹 Supporting Idea 2 (with examples or reasons)

🔄 Concession Sentence (state the opposite opinion)

✅ Concluding Sentence
