Dear Delft MaMa community,

This is an extra email this week to make some announcements for June. There are exciting things happening in Delft Mama this month and in preparation for the fall and we want to make sure you are aware of them all! Keep reading to find out more!

Playgroup

In June there will playgroups every Friday from 10:30 - 11:30 at Kindergarden Delf Zuid (Vulcanusweg 267, Delft). So mark your calendars and we hope to see you then!

The last playgroup before the summer break will be Friday 7 July 10:30 - 11:30 at Kindegarden Delft Zuid. Over summer, feel free to set up your own playdates with each other via the WhatsApp group, but we will not have any official Delft Mama playgroups until fall. Our first playgroup after the summer break will be Friday 25 August 10:30 - 11:30 at Kindergarden Delft Zuid.

If you would like to volunteer to host in the fall, please take a look at the sign-up sheet and email Robyn (email at the bottom) your availability.

Also if you would like to make the suggested donation of 1-2 Euros for playgroup while at home, here is the QR code. We are grateful for all the contributions!

Parents' Night Out

Now that the weather is nice we will have a night to gather just as parents! Often we connect at playgroup, but it can be a bit chaotic. It is nice to sometimes have a conversation with other grownups without our kids around.

Please join Robyn on Thursday 15 June 19:30-22:00 at Het Konings Huys for a drink or dessert with others in our community. This is not sponsored by Delft Mama so everyone will be responsible for their own bill. Please email to Robyn (email at the bottom) by 5 June if you would like to come.

This will be Renée's last event as our Chair Person. Please come to give her a hug and wish her well in her next endeavour. We are so thankful for all the hard work she put into Delft Mama for the past year and half and want to send her off well!

Demographic Survey

The Board of Directors for Delft Mama is preparing to apply for grants and other sources of funding to better support Delft Mama. In order to this, we need to know who is in our community! Can you take a few minutes and fill out this Demographic Survey? All responses will be anonymous and no email addresses will be stored. Individual answers will never be published, but statistical reports will be made by collecting all the responses together. The survey should take less than 10 minutes. If you have questions or concerns, please email Robyn.
