The year is going by crazy fast, and I need to press pause for a moment.

Surely, I'm not the only one feeling this way.

My hubby was given the okay to retire on his birthday at the end of September this year, and I know it will be here before we know it with how fast the year is already flying by.

I'm panicking a little. The idea of having him home full time is a little daunting, but I'm sure we'll get used to being in each other's space more than we are now. I still work part time, so there will be times when we're not together, but I am worried about him becoming bored and isolated from other people. I may have to come up with a list of tasks for him to do around the house. 🤷

I have been finalising special editions with pretty floral covers and interiors for the Wild Out West event in Perth this May. It's so nice to be able to attend an event at home, so I wanted to go all out. I adore these covers and the interiors are gorgeous too, but it's been such a lot of work!

I've also been working on making some cute swag! I'm going to hire and use a press for the first time ever. I have 20 of these bad boys to make. Fingers crossed, everything goes to plan and I don't mess it all up!

This month, I've been working through Susan Stoker at the recommendation of a reader turned friend. She's a true Stoker fan and has wanted me to read her books for some time. Susan writes military men, who I would dare say are cinnamon rolls. They are all about consent and their partner's agency, which I know you find sexy!

I haven't had a lot of time to read as author life has taken up a considerable amount of time this month, but what I have read has been enjoyable.
