Can you believe we're halfway through 2023?

I can't. This year is flying by way too fast for my liking.

To make myself feel better, I thought we should have a poll.

Which Chris do you think is the best? This is a question I ponder regularly and I'd love to hear your thoughts by responding to this email. I wonder if we like the same one?

How did you go with meeting your reading goals last month? I had a terrible month for reading in that I didn't have a lot of time to read but what I did read I really enjoyed.

I'm thrilled to announce that I've been invited to Romance Invades the Canadian Rockies as a signing author.

This is a dream come true for myself and my family. We've wanted to visit Canada for many years now and attending this event gives us an excuse to do it. We plan to travel around Canada for a month in an RV. The second part of my dream is that I get to meet one of my favourite authors, KC Lynn! If you haven't checked out her work, please do. You can thank me later. But be warned, I've already married Cade Walker in my head, so you can't have him.

I'm currently at 61K words on my current project. Yay!

It's coming along very slowly. I've found since having Covid, I struggle to construct a complete sentence and to get my ideas down. I've even found it difficult to think of the correct word I need to describe something. I'm hoping this brain fog clears soon because I'm finding it very frustrating.

Once I get the first draft completed, I'll have a better idea of a possible release date for you, so keep checking back.
