Hi everyone, and welcome to new subscribers! I’m delighted to report that I am now officially cancer free! My oncologist and the surgeon agree that no further treatment is required. I’m pretty happy that radiation won’t be necessary. Of course, there will be follow-up appointments, including my annual mammogram, which started this whole process last June. If you’re interested in more details about this health journey and my writing life, please click on my blog link at the bottom of this email.

This month, I’m offering a $.99 sale on my second Casey Holland mystery, Deadly Accusations. The story takes place four months after the drama in book one, The Opposite of Dark. Casey and Summer are struggling to come to terms with what happened when new trouble hits Casey’s workplace. Here’s a short blurb:

A coworker’s murder triggers accusations and suspicion among security officer Casey Holland’s workmates. Her job turns into a nightmare when the company’s president pressures her to find answers. Shunned and threatened at work, Casey’s also dealing with life-changing events at home; all while facing the horrific possibility that one of her friends could be a killer. “A well-crafted book with lots of teasers”.- Nightreader

The book can be found on these platforms:

I’m also taking part in a BookFunnel newsletter signup promo, focusing on mystery, suspense, and thrillers. With forty authors participating, you’ll have a great selection to choose from HERE.

What I’ve Been Watching

Are you a Sherlock Holmes fan? I have been since my teens. Last week, we stumbled across the British production of Young Sherlock on Prime and began watching. It’s incredibly entertaining with great acting, a clever mystery, and plenty of humour. If you’re a Holmes fan, I think you’ll enjoy this production.

I’ll keep this short and leave you with a photo of the tulips in our garden. The weather’s been sunny and warm these past few days, more like summer than spring. Enjoy the rest of spring and happy reading!
