I really thought fall was on the way. I looked at the week-long forecast Saturday night and next weekend was supposed to be in the 60s with lows in the 40s. Yay, sweatshirt weather! I get up Sunday morning and it's changed to upper 70s for the high. Hey, I'm ready for fall! How about you?
I spent a quiet Sunday celebrating my birthday at home with my hubby and the #2doods. Cool and rainy, I opted to not go with our original plan of seeing a movie at the local theater (our first since maybe January?). Instead, I played on my iPad while he watched Nascar. Hey, when you're 73, you take your pleasures where you can (she says as she chews on a Twizzler from the pack hubby brought home as a pre-birthday gift).
As to the world outside my little bubble - pandemics, protests, wildfires, hurricanes, and who knows what will be next (not even thinking about November)? This has truly been an unbelievable year. I have family and friends that have already been impacted and I fear there is more to come. We would normally either be in Maryland visiting family or out and about enjoying the fall activities here in Tennessee. Now we look forward to spring event planning and a cruise in November 2021. Keeping our fingers crossed...
Oh, my writing? Well, it' been going okay, not great. Still more to cut from my daily routine to allow more writing time. I used to be so organized...oops! I have spent time working on that, really. Here's one thing that is helping: Update on my New Toy – Rocketbook. I've also put together a rough writing schedule for my future planned book series.
I guess that's it for now...on to the good stuff!
