I hope the weather is moving into FALL wherever you are...it sure is here. Finally some daytime temps in the mid-upper 70s with a few days still in the low 80s. Best is the nighttime temps in the 50s-60s. Yes! Can you tell I'm fall lover?
The #2doods, Cooper and Murphy, are loving it as well. They spend most afternoons stretched out on our back deck sleeping. They also stay out later in the evenings, checking out the backyard nightlife.
Not much has changed on the home front. We had planned a trip to Dollywood for my birthday but due to the large number of bees and yellow jackets reported there, in addition to the increasing COVID numbers, we opted to cancel. So I spent a quiet birthday at home.
Instead, we have booked a second cruise week in early December which will be a back-to-back with our current cruise. We are in the same cabin and the rate was too good to pass up. We will need to take a COVID test within two days of departure so we are going to get the self-test kit that uses the telehealth oversight. Hubby is watching multiple videos about it, it will be our backup if we can't get tested in Florida the Saturday before we leave. Keeping our fingers crossed.
I have taken a sabbatical from writing - my muse has left the building and rather than stress about it, I'm just relaxing. I know this isn't what my readers want to hear and I know many of you are waiting for my next book but it will be a better book for my taking this break. Thank you for understanding.
Once again, we have some great books listed below. I hope you enjoy them all!
