Welcome back! It’s only been two weeks since our last newsletter but for me it’s been a very hectic time. No, not virus related but yes, medical. I had surgery done on June 22nd and I’m still in recovery mode. It was an elective surgery and had been delayed from the first scheduled date in March. All went well but I have to admit my recovery has been a bit slower than I’d hoped. Since I’m retired, that’s not a big thing - well, unless you’re waiting for my next book. That said, I hope to be back to full steam in another week and ready to finish my current project, the prequel to my C’Mon Inn Mystery Series, Paradise Down.
Another item of note, I spent a lot of June involved with folks interested in defining a new sub-genre of cozy mysteries called brozy mysteries. Targeted at gaining more male readers of mysteries without a lot of swearing/sex/violence, with bolder/edgier characters and action. Want to learn more? Read this!
