Guest Speaker: Pastor Carlos Alamino, Sr
In the world’s eyes, Carlos Alamino was destined for fame—poised to join Cuba’s national baseball team. But when the Holy Spirit called him to lay down that dream and step into pastoral ministry, Carlos chose obedience over opportunity, launching a life marked by sacrifice, spiritual leadership, and bold vision. In 1991, under a tree in a small village, he prayed for help to spread the gospel across Cuba and beyond—and God answered through 15 teenagers who joined him in faith. That moment birthed Empoderando las Naciones (ELNAC), now known in the U.S. as Proclaim Cuba, a ministry that has grown for over 34 years through our four ministry pillars of: evangelism, discipleship, spiritual training, and community support. Please welcome, Pastor Carlos Alamino.
Bio:
Yielding to the Holy Spirit's call on his life, Carlos Alamino gave up a bright future as a member of Cuba’s national baseball team to become a pastor. For himself and his family, this choice set into motion a life of great service and great persecution.
While serving as pastor in a small village in 1991, Pastor Carlos received another calling to spread the gospel to Cuba and the nations. Finding little help to fulfill this vision among other church leaders in Cuba at the time, Carlos was joined by 15 teenagers who encountered him under a tree praying to God for support. Thus was born Empoderando las Naciones (ELNAC), translated Empowering the Nations.
Now, over 34 years later, ELNAC, known as Proclaim Cuba in the United States, is a dynamic ministry reaching Cuba and the nations through four foundational pillars: evangelism, discipleship, spiritual training, and community support. Learn more about Proclaim Cuba’s mission at www.proclaimcuba.org.
Carlos Alamino is the Founder and President of ELNAC. He is also the pastor of The Redeemer Baptist Church in Céspedes, Cuba and a professor at the ministry's Victor Légra Seminary, Rev. Alamino is a graduate of the Baptist Theological Seminary of Santiago de Cuba and also received a degree in Bible Studies from the Facultad Latinoamericana de Estudios Teológicos.”

🕚 Time: 11:30am to 1pm.
We kick off at 11:30 AM and wrap up by 1 PM, giving everyone ample time to introduce themselves and connect.
