Hopefully, you're enjoying some of the sunny weather we're having, it's set to warm up again this week isn't it?

We're looking at the possibility of locally grown mushrooms in the coming weeks, and would really like your feedback. The team who are starting to grow them expect to be able to offer both Lion's Mane and Oyster mushrooms.

If you're familiar with functional mushrooms you'll know a bit about both. It's not just about the taste and what dishes you can create with them, but also about their health boosting properties.

Lion's Mane mushrooms in particular have been found to improve cognitive function.

It's an interesting time as research is still very young but it does look as though we're starting to understand just how beneficial mushrooms are.

For now, do let us know whether these locally grown mushrooms are of interest so we can gauge demand.
