We have a lovely range of really drinkable organic wines in the shop these days, and you really ought to nip in and have a look at the selection. I say "drinkable" because thats the word that I keep hearing from customers who take a bottle home. I completely agree with that description, they're really smooth, really pleasant and you'll really like them.

Hot on the heels of that gorgeous wine though is a range of organic beers. We've added a few from Samuel Smith's brewery as several customers asked about them. Those, like the wines are available via our online shop for delivery or collection or over the counter too.

Returning Veg Boxes and Missing Veggies

Just a little ask, if you're in Buxton please do return your empty veg boxes to us. You can bring them back in person or hand them back to our rider when your next delivery turns up. If you've any at home, we'd be really grateful if you could pop them back before Thursday this week as we're a bit short of boxes at the moment.

This week, some of you were short of some of the items you'd ordered in your veg boxes, and from us and Organic North apologies. The issue was a crash involving one of the lorries transporting veg from Uni-Vert in France. This meant we had no apples, cucumber, cherries or courgette to pass on to you lovely folk. It's rare that we have to deal with issues like this, and I do readily admit to half an hour of panic while I figured out how to work round the problem. All was well in the end, even though you all had to put off your planned afternoon tea with cucumber sandwiches til another day.
