Hi

Every now and again we reach out to you lovely lot to help us keep everything running smoothly. We need an extra pair of helping hands again, to ready veg boxes for Jamie to whizz around Buxton on the cargo bike. The magic happens behind the scenes on Thursday mornings, from mid-morning, generally from 10:30(ish) for a couple of hours. It would also work for you if you just have an hour free.

It's work that we do together as a team of three, and there's friendly chat and always tea or coffee guaranteed!

If you love what we do, we'd appreciate you stepping into this space and giving us a hand. If there's a young person you know who wants to gain some skills and confidence then this would be ideal for them too. We've had a couple of brilliant younger people here over the last couple of years getting involved. All ages welcome!

On that note, we'd like to publicly thank Sam who has been a regular veg box volunteer for over a year. Most of you will have had a veg box picked and packed by Sam, and we're so grateful for his help. There's a fair chance of him being involved in college holidays and sometimes in the shop on Saturdays, but we really do want to say a big thanks as Sam begins a year at college. You're a star Sam, cheers!
