A few of you mentioned last week's email, where I talked about the Surfers Against Sewage gold award. It's lovely to have conversations about how much what we do matters to you, thanks!

And those lovely customers who read between the lines and have re-affirmed that passion to reduce plastic and to shop with us, thanks again!

So, yes, things this Summer have been quieter than we would hope for, and it can get me pretty darn stressed at times. But honestly, the lovely conversations I get to have in the shop and the lovely people who I have them with are brilliant. It's absolutely great to have so many friends here, thanks (for the third time this newsletter!).

We really must of course make sure we stick around, and so we do really need to encourage you to shop with us, to pop in and support the causes we're here to support, to shop local rather than big named brands and supermakets.

And we'd really like to now encourage some more of you to try fresh produce delivered to your door by us. We offer set veg boxes or a completely free choice of produce that we deliver around Buxton every week (by the intrepid Jamie on the cargo bike, whatever the weather!)

For new regular customers in Buxton, we're offering a 20% discount on your first box, with a 15% discount on your third and free delivery on your fifth.

The produce coming through from the UK markets at this time of year is still superb and you really can choose to support those farmers who are working really hard to bring local, nature-friendlier crops to us.

We also sell that fresh organic fresh produce in the shop.
