Last week I talked about community and we had some lovely conversations with you in response. Thanks to those of you who replied to the email too, it's heartwarming to have these connections with you.

This week has been a challenging one, possibly because of half term and the cold weather, we've been quieter in the shop than usual. Hopefully we'll see it just as a blip, but being so dedicated to what we do and really wanting to reach more customers, it's nevertheless concerning.

We know that we're greatly valued here, and many of you support us regularly. To have regular shoppers and regular veg box delivery customers is amazing. Thank you.

We want to continue to ensure that we're in your thoughts as part of your regular shopping though, so can we be so bold to ask you to just remember to choose conscious sourcing where possible. We do a lot of research into the products we offer in store and online at Day Zero, so we can make making the right choice a lot easier.

We'd really just love to get more people into refilling and bring back some of you who have just got out of the habit. We offer a much wider range in store than when we started, so you can pick up food and cleaning refills, packaged wholefoods, organic wine, cooking oils, juice, a big range of chocolate, tea bags and your fruit and veg for the week in one go. And if you think you can't carry all that to your car, then use our equivalent of a click and collect service. Return to your car, then drive up and wait outside and we'll bring your shopping out to you. Simple!
