Sadly, no olympic athletes to report this week, but my legs certainly feel the after effects of a local road race I took part in last night. It wasn't an Olympic effort from me, but I really enjoyed being out on the hills on such a beautiful evening.

You may recall that we sell Honest Toil olive oil and rapeseed oil from Just Oil in retail bottles, in store and for delivery also. Further to that, if you're a customer who gets deliveries by bike (so Buxton only) we're trialling a refill system for you. Leave your own bottle out for collection when you have a delivery due or hand is over to Russ, we'll take it away, refill it with olive oil and return it with your next delivery.

You'll need to make sure your bottle is labelled with your name and we'll use it as is, we don't have the facility to be offering a bottle washing service. The cost of the oil refill will just be added onto the order we deliver it with. This is 'live' with immediate effect.

And don't forget that you can order SESI cleaning products for delivery in 5 litre containers. Return your empties to us via our delivery bike and just order a full one when you need it. SESI take back all their empties to be used again and again.

Quick update about veg..if you order veg boxes from us on a regular basis, we now need you to let us know in advance of any planned breaks in your normal schedule.

We aim to carry on wasting as close to zero veg as possible. Our best chance of that contuining is when we can adjust our own veg order to fit known demand. So, we now need at least two weeks notice of planned breaks and three weeks would be the icing on the (carrot) cake!

Consider this a deal that benefits everyone, in return for you keeping us up to date on your plans, we can make sure you continue to get the ability to order veg boxes within a couple of days of them being delivered to you.

And we completely understand that sometimes things change at the last minute, that's not a problem, it's the planned breaks that we want to work around. Cheers!
