It's been a snowy week in central Illinois and it's beee-utiful!
Our son and future daughter-in-law from Texas visited all of last week for Thanksgiving, and it snowed Friday night through Sunday morning. Growing up in Texas, she'd never witnessed a snowstorm. She said it was like visiting Planet Hoth (the frozen world from Star Wars) LOL.
This month is filled with all of the things I love: family get togethers; special recipes; Christmas decor with lots of red and green, my favorite colors. December also means plenty of new holiday romances have appeared on store shelves, just in time for some necessary downtime to enjoy the season.
