I'm fighting the urge to get my hands dirty.
Pottery class invitations keep popping into my inbox from the two art centers where I've taken classes in the past.
Handbuilding. Ceramic bird houses. Christmas ornaments.
The variety of techniques to learn are tempting me like crazy. It must be the cooler weather beckoning me to turn my attention to indoor activities rather than the outdoors. And I'm convinced I'd be a decent ceramics artist if I weren't a writer. So I keep dabbling. Someday I might come away from one of these classes with a functional mug.
