5 Favorite Quotes (Issue 29)

Hi Friends,

We are one step closer to launching our newest website, and I'm so excited to share it with you. As a business, our goal is to scale our impact so that we can reach more people in a positive way and this new website may be the first step in us taking that next leap!

Exciting times :)

With that, this week I want to share five of my favorite quotes I've read or heard since the beginning of this year. Enjoy!

"Every decision you make also reflects what you truly believe, far louder than any words you speak." - Benjamin Hardy

This is a great reminder about the power of our words and how we use language to describe what we think, feel, and believe.

“We change the world not by what we say or do but as a consequence of what we have become.” - Hawkins, David R. in Power vs. Force

Anotehr great reminder that the power of our life and our decisions isn't by forcing something outside of ourselves to grow and develop but maturing within ourselves.

(Definition) Neuroception is the “the brain’s and body’s constant subconscious monitoring of threat and safety.”

Depending on how you were raised, the level of perceived threat and safetly in life could be low or high. In either case, there is a part of us that can run all our decisions if not understood or overlooked or suppressed.

“In feelings, it is best to be wealthy and generous.” -Héctor García and Francesc Miralles in Ikigia

It's so easy to forget how powerful a simple idea like this could be to us and those around us.

"Don’t just plant a tree, plant an orchard." -unkown

I mean, why not?

My favorite finds this week

All in,

David
