The Beginning of August has been an interesting week so far, the triple conjunction in Taurus has led to multiple hard aspects with Mars and is due to bring some more hard aspects with the Sun and Venus in the near future. Mars will be moving out of Taurus this month taking what warrior-like energy from the mix until the Uranus, North conjunction is over. 

This week Mars is separating (moving away) from the conjunction and by the end of the week it will be more than 5 degrees away from Uranus and 7 degrees away from the North Node. Along with Mercury now being in Virgo, Venus moving into Leo and the full Moon in Aquarius, this week is definitely going to show brighter energy than last week. 

Venus moving into Leo

Venus symbolises love, appeal, ambition, beauty, and passion. It will represent balance, devotion, desire, creativity, and allure. Where we find Venus either natally or in real-time will show us how we want to express our love (especially in our intimate relationships) and our creativity. 

Leo is a fixed fire sign, it is ruled by the Sun and represented by the Lion. Leo represents sustained vitality, loyal and self-expression. When Venus transits through Leo it becomes extremely expressive and dramatic. 

During this transit, our level of self-expression will improve causing us to speak our mind but seeking to do this in a harmonious way. To make the most of this transit find what house Leo is in within your chart and try to get a creative way to express that topic in your life. 

Full Moon in Aquarius

Friday the 12th there will be a Full Moon in the independent, free-thinking sign of Aquarius. The full moon is when the Sun and Moon are in opposite positions from earth other relative to the Earth's position. This means that astrologically a full moon is when the Sun and Moon are in opposite signs of the zodiac. 

This full moon is squaring off against the triple conjunction so it will really shine a light on the topics that have been coming up over the last few weeks after Mars entered into Taurus. The main theme will be the things that we are holding on to that may be stopping us from being able to express ourselves effectively.
