It's a marketing term, of course. Coined in 2005 by the National Retail Federation after they noticed a spike in e-commerce sales the Monday after Thanksgiving year after year, it gives online stores an opportunity to join in on Black Friday, which until recent years had mostly been an in-person event at physical stores.
Now that online shopping is more common than ever, and more people choose to shop from home instead of braving the traffic and crowds (two things I hate!), the term is now a shopping holiday in its own right.
In our neck of the woods, this is the final day to take advantage of our Black Friday sale! It ends tonight, so if there's anything you still want to get a good deal on, today is the day!
For example, if you're looking for a practical gift and don't want to deal with Flexi sizing, how about a hair towel?
I have one and I love it! It's easier and less bulky than a bath towel, and comfortable enough that I forget to take it off, LOL. (And machine washable, darling! 😎)
Or just browse everything and see what you like!
Have fun, and feel free to reach out to me at this email if you have questions or need gifting advice. Whatever you pick for the girls and ladies on your list, you'll be their favorite! Happy Cyber Monday!
