Okay, I'm not known for good puns. Give me a break.
It'll be July 4th in just a few days, and I still don't know what I'm going to be doing (besides watching Captain America). We've had a lot going on family wise, so as usual I'll be playing it by ear. Let me know if you have Independence Day plans or are also just rolling with the punches. 😅
In this great country of ours, warts and all, we enjoy a great many freedoms that not everyone has. (By the way, did you know you can thank Oliver Cromwell for the phrase Warts And All?) But freedom and independence come with responsibility to use them wisely - it is not an excuse to do whatever we want whether it is healthy or kind or not, as some are under the impression. Or as I like to say, Can does not equal Should. Sometimes we can get caught up in fighting for what we think we're entitled to, which usually just leads to a lot of fighting. Sometimes the wise thing is to admit that something is not a good use of our freedoms, whether it is morally wrong or unhealthy or unkind.
All this to say, please don't use rocket fuel to grill your burgers. Bigger is not always better. It's all fun and games until someone goes to the emergency room.
