October’s Mane Event is here, and she’s a beauty. Officially, her name is Kendra — a striking owl perched on a golden crescent moon with just the right touch of sparkle. I think I read fairy tale inspired novels once (I forget the author) with a recurring witch character named Kendra. But I'm getting different vibes from this dramatic clip.
I’ve already ordered one for myself and I'm gonna name him Jareth — because, really, how could I resist? He’ll join the rest of my owl Flexi flock: Hedwig and Pigwigeon. (Yes, I’m a geek. No regrets.)
