Ever feel unappreciated? Like you're doing everything you can and no one even says Thank You? Even though we know that living righteously is not about the reward or what's in it for us, it's easy to get resentful if we feel taken advantage of.
Recently I got back from a trip, and after spending hours on the road I was pretty tired and hangry, especially when I found a pile of work waiting for me. Had anyone run the errand I asked them to do before I left? Nope. Cat water bowls were bone dry, so who filled them up? Me. Dishes were out, so who put them away? Me. Guess who had to cook dinner? Me. I wish I could say I handled it with grace, but I was crankier than usual for a while.
It's easier said than done to serve others and give appreciation as much as we expect it for ourselves, but I hope I haven't ever made you feel used or unappreciated. You probably know this, but a business cannot exist without its customers and fans, and I thank you for your continued support in various ways: reading my silly emails, telling your friends and family about the awesome hair solutions you use, and placing orders. All of it makes a difference, and it is appreciated. Thank you again.
