Law 10: Be Intentional With Money

Faith is important, but wisdom must lead your finances.

Hey ,

Merry Christmas in advance.

Today is Law 10 in this series.

And this one is very practical:

Be intentional with money.

Or simply put:

Be careful how you approach money.

Especially as believers.

A lot of us mix faith with financial carelessness.

We say things like, “God will provide,” and yes, He does.

But provision does not cancel responsibility.

Faith does not replace wisdom.

There’s this mindset many people carry, consciously or unconsciously:

“If I perish, I perish.”

So you spend your last money on impulse.

You ignore planning.

You don’t track your expenses.

You don’t prioritize needs.

You don’t budget.

And then you call it faith.

That’s not faith.

That’s poor money management.

A few days ago, we talked about scale of preference.

Just because you want something does not mean you need it.

Needs come first.

Wants come later.

If something is a desire but not a necessity, and there are more important things on your list, discipline means you deny yourself for now.

That’s maturity.

Money is one area you cannot afford to be ignorant in.

You should know:

– How much you spend on food in a month

– How much transportation costs you

– How much data costs you

– What your fixed expenses are

– What is draining your money

– What is putting money in your hands

Personally, I know roughly how much foodstuff I buy in bulk, how long it lasts, and what it costs me. That clarity helps me plan better.

You don’t need to be rich to be organized.

You need to be intentional.

If you want to grow financially, scale financially, and multiply resources in 2026, then impulse spending cannot be your lifestyle.

You must learn:

– Budgeting

– Saving

– Prioritizing needs over wants

– Delaying gratification

– Tracking where your money goes

God provides, yes.

But He also expects stewardship.

Money is a tool.

And like every tool, if you don’t understand it, it will hurt you.

So as we move toward 2026, adopt this mindset:

I will be faithful.

I will trust God.

But I will also be wise with money.

That balance matters.

That is Law 10.

Talk tomorrow.
