Let's continue our series. I made a decision few weeks back to rest during weekends so I didn't send any mail out.

The third Lesson I learnt transitioning into Tech is that TECH IS NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME.

I wasn't in tech for the money obviously but I learnt first hand that those who are successful in the tech world didn't succeed overnight.

They didn't become great at it overnight.

They didn't make money from it overnight.

I met someone who was being paid 7 million naira, working remotely for international brands. That's all one will see but after discussing further with him, he's spent millions of naira learning the skill and getting gadgets to enhance the process.

Tech is a great world and it's not saturated at all. There's a lot of money to be made in the tech world but it's not going to come overnight and it certainly won't come to an amateur.

If you want to get rich quick, tech is not the way.

But if you are in it for the long term, then join the club,
