Hello !

First, thanks to everyone who took time to write and let me know which book cover you'd be most inclined to click on. I really appreciate all the feedback.

Here's how the votes came in:

I was very surprised since the Facebook ad testing showed the winning cover you collectively chose was the far and away loser with random strangers! The ads were shown over 18,000 times so the data should be pretty accurate!

The winning order for the Facebook audience test was #3, #1, #4 and then #2!

If I use the man's hand holding the mic and the woman giving him flowers I still hope you'll read the story! It's my favorite so far. The most rom-com of all my stories.

And The Billionaire's Shrubbery is on sale until it launches, so you can get this full length romance for just $2.99 if you pre-order. Once it's live it will be $4.99, like all my novels.

And now for the drawing of the fun romance swag that I'll mail one lucky winner ... click the spinning wheel to see who it is.

(Since I feel so bad for the person who looked like they were going to win ... I'll send you swag, too since you were robbed!)

Replays of rom-com readings

Last Sunday I hosted a rom-com reading with four of my friends who have new books out. It was a lot of fun and I've posted the replay on YouTube for anyone who got the time wrong or was busy.

And ... if you want to see me read from my very first romance, First In: Cheeky with the Fire Chief, I was a guest on The Romance Happy Hour last week.

There are prizes of free ebooks from both Liz and I for folks who follow me on Amazon and Liz on Bookbub. So pop over ASAP since I'm pretty sure the contest ends on Monday.

New release from Liz Alden

After you listen to Liz read the first chapter of Rosé with my Fake Fiancé on The Romance Happy Hour grab your copy to know how this later-in-life rom-com gives an older heroine her HEA with a younger Parisien man! Ooh-la-la!

I’m alone and miserable in my favorite city in the world until a flirty–and much younger–man pretends to be my fiancé.

I thought that by forty-two, I’d be happily married, but somehow, I’ve been the woman men want to date but don’t want to marry. And now, even my friends have left me alone in the city of love.

Alone—except for Luc, the charming tour guide. He refuses to cancel the trip and reminds me what it’s like to feel sexy and desired. He even rekindles my love for Paris by showing me a side of the city few people see.

Then we run into my ex . . . with his new fiancée on his arm and a smug look on his face.

When Luc holds me close and tells a little lie, their surprise is so satisfying. Maybe a little too satisfying because I wind up in bed with my fake fiancé. The hottest night of my life certainly didn’t feel fake.

Too bad I’m only here for the weekend.

Read it now!

And that's all this week. We've got sun in the Pacific Northwest and I'm going to get some rays. It feels like eight months since I've stepped outside without my waterproof parka on. I need the hit of warmth and vitamin D.

Love & stuff,

Danika

PS - Tell me something that made you laugh this past week, whether a scene in a book or from your own living room!
