Hello !

I hope you've had a lovely week. Mine was busy, busy, busy, making a coloring book for you!

Well, it's more than just a coloring book—it's a romance reader coloring challenge that 27 authors have contributed to, many of whom are offering prizes of free ebooks to readers who post their colored pictures on Facebook or Instagram.

Click the picture above to see all 30 reader challenges and their coloring pages! (Works best on a computer, not a phone or tablet).

If you're able to print and color a picture, I'd love to see which one you choose. I've done two so far. I only have 8 markers so I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. I haven't posted them online yet but when I do, I'll tag them with #ColorfulRomance so we can all see each other's visions implemented!

In addition to making a coloring challenge...

I've been watching Christmas movies this week, much to Mr. Bloom's ... patience, we'll say!

A Boy Called Christmas (I cried), Let It Snow (loved the diversity of the cast), and Love Hard (this one made me laugh). I've convinced him that we should watch A Castle for Christmas next—looks like a fun later-in-life romantic comedy.

Have you started watching holiday movies? Do you have a favorite? Let me know what else I can fake-force Mr. Bloom to snuggle up with me to watch!

Free books and stuff

Speaking of later-in-life romance, if you enjoy stories with a heroine finding love after the age of 50, my friend Jeanine Lauren has her book Angel and the Neville Next Door in a Goodreads Giveaway. (I gave her the name for the book after having read an early draft!)

100 lucky people will win an ebook of this story. And right now, you have a 1 in 5 chance of winning since there are fewer than 500 entrants!

Find the giveaway and all the other free books I've found for you from the link below.

Short and sweet this weekend since it's already mid-afternoon and I haven't had breakfast, let alone lunch yet... I'm starting to get a little hangry, so before my subconscious mind starts typing words it's yelling at me, I'll sign off.

Don't forget to send me your favorite holiday movies—new or old—the sappier the better to get my holiday Scrooge into a festive attitude!

love & coloringstuff,

Danika

PS—If you missed it last week, check out the Christmas romance anthology I have a story in, called Secret Santa. It's on pre-order right now for only $0.99 and will land in your ereader (Kindle, Nook, Kobo) on December 14.

If you've read any of the books in The Mixed Six-Pack and are interested in meeting another of the 6 brothers, this is Morgan and Tamara's story. (They were mentioned in Second Breath, Dylan and Kama's story).
