What jingles your bells this time of year, ?
We've had our first snow up here in the Great White North and that's put me in the holiday spirit. I even ordered a new Christmas tree 🎄 since the one we've been using was bought by my husband's parents in the 1970s—it was looking a bit more tired than joyful. Like so many of us these days...
The new tree will be here tomorrow. Decorations are waiting to be hung. And darnitall, we will be joyful putting them on—even though our adult kids aren't allowed to come over to help us... because we're in lock-down. Again. 🙅♀️
A new release by Jeanine Lauren called Angel and the Neville Next Door caught my eye because it's about a dog person and cat person finding love. That's me and Mr. Bloom—I'm the cat person and he loves his dogs.
Angel and the Neville Next Door is a sweet romance that I read in one, long bath, two nights ago. I highly recommend it to get you into a festive mood.

The crowning glory of this lovely story is the inspirational wedding ceremony. Adapted from Celtic handfasting traditions, this fresh approach highlighted the power of cooperation, the importance of family, and the joy of true love. It's a must-read for anyone who loves romance.
