BMW is about to unveil its new 8th generation 5 Series luxury sedan. The exterior will be evolutionary, and the interior will feature BMW's latest infotainment tech. It will have a range of engines, including a plug-in hybrid and fully electric version, as well as an M Performance model. A long-wheelbase version will also be available in China.

A drag race between the CLS 53, BMW M550i xDrive, and Maserati Levante Modena S was conducted, with the BMW being the clear winner. The BMW's engine is living on borrowed time, with the next-generation 5 Series reportedly not having a V8 engine.
