2023 BMW 5 Series G60 Will Look Like A Modernized E60

BMW is currently on a revamping mission, which should see its entire range of cars being shaken up by all-new generations in just a few years. The move would be fitting in the context of the model’s internal name, which will be G60, but that is also mainly where the somewhat retro look will end, because the 2023 BMW 5 Series has some proportions never-before-seen on a BMW sedan.

BMW M5 CS Drag Races Porsche 911 Turbo, 1,000HP Mercedes-AMG E 63

Speaking of competition, the 911's rival for the day is the sublime BMW M5 CS. The Bavarian sedan is quite possibly the best M car you can buy right now if what you're after is performance.

X3 M with S58 engine good for 503 horsepower and 443 lb-ft Nm of torque. All of that is sent to the four wheels of the car via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The other three cars in this race are pretty close in terms of performance and specs. The Mercedes-AMG GLC63 S comes with a 4.0-liter V8 but the same amount of horsepower, the Alfa-Romeo Stelvio QV has the exact same amount of power too but from a 2.9-liter V6 while the Jaguar F-Pace SVR has the biggest engine here, a 5.0-liter supercharged monster good for the most power, 550 horses in total. Who win?

BMW Orders Up $24 Billion Of Batteries

BMW AG has boosted orders for battery cells to keep pace with accelerating demand for electric cars that made up more than 11% of deliveries during the half of the year. The German carmaker now has contracts for more than 20 billion euros of batteries, up from 12 billion euros previously, Chief Executive Officer Oliver Zipse said in an interview.
