A different kind of Father's Day...

Hello, ,
No matter how you celebrated Father's Day, I know that many of us have someone missing at the table. A dad. A brother. A grandfather. An uncle. A close friend.
You're not alone.
I lost my dad when I was 12 years old, and it changed my life forever.
Every Father's Day since then has been different. Sometimes, I feel overwhelming pain and loss. Sometimes I feel numb. And sometimes - now that it's been two decades - I forget that it's Father's Day.
Wherever you're at in your own grief journey, know that it's normal. There's no way you "should" be feeling.
I want to share with you my own journey through loss, grief and depression, into healing. And I want to do it a creative way - by showing you my art process.
I'm not in it to make you cry (though if you do, I believe tears are SO healing!). I'm here to encourage you that even if it's been two decades and you're still in terrible pain, don't give up.
I truly believe that because grief & loss take us beyond words, we must go beyond words (to art!) in order to heal.
Let me know what you think of the video!
