I wrote the book I needed...

My first children's book, Lulu Faces Loss, turns three years old today! I chose to release it on October 20 because that’s the day my dad passed away when I was still a kid.
No one is prepared to lose a loved one and go through the roller coaster of grief in the days, months, and years following a loss. How much more unprepared are our kiddos experiencing death for the first time?
SO I wrote the book I needed back then: a realistic portrayal of death & dying, and what grief looks like during the year following a loss. I'm honored to have the book recommended by many wonderful and compassionate people, including Garlena Rumsey, LPC, whom I worked with this spring.
Lulu Faces Loss is designed for kids ages 5-9 and it’s available on Amazon in paperback and ebook formats, in English and Spanish. It even includes instructions for a craft project just like Lulu makes in the book!
The ebook is 99 cents USD until Wednesday 10/25. It’s a great time to check it out and see if it would be beneficial for the kid in your life.
It's also a great gift to keep on hand - unfortunately, you never know when you'll need it.
Thanks for commemorating this significant milestone with me,
