In my last mail, I promised to show you how to set up your mind to achieve the success you desire, so that you would not end up like those who keep on aiming at something but never achieve it.
There are two things to know about your mind that would help you achieve ANYTHING you want to: The first is that your mind doesn’t have a mind of its own, the second is that your mind is very loyal.
I’d break them down for you.
Your mind does not have a mind of its own, it doesn’t have its own preferences, it doesn’t discriminate. It accepts whoever comes to it and welcomes everybody in. However, its love language is quality time, so even though it accepts everyone, only that person, thought, or idea that visits it most frequently and consistently becomes its best friend. That is why the environment we are in has such a huge influence on our mindset, because it is the space we are mostly in and our minds consistently interact with its elements.
The fact that the mind is extremely loyal makes that influence even more intense. The moment your mind is set in a particular way, it becomes very difficult to get it to follow another path. This is so important because your mind has become loyal to where you are right now, when you need it to become loyal to where you want to be.
Now that you know how the mind works, here’s what you can do to get it to work; Since you know it welcomes everything and everyone, don’t be discouraged about introducing something new to it (that it your desire/vision). Also, remember it’s love language is quality time, so get ready to persist in visiting your mind with thoughts and ideas of where you want to be, so that it abandons its friendship with where you are right now, and becomes loyal to where you are going instead.
